The Sensitive Skincare Company produces a lovely natural emollient range for all skin-types prone to dryness and sensitivities.
We know at The Sensitive Skincare Co that an effective skin care routine is of paramount importance for an extremely dry or a delicate, sensitive skin. Our all natural and organic moisturising system is accumulative, so the more frequently you use our moisturising system, the better your skin will look and feel.
We strongly suggest if you tend to have a dry, sensitive skin, it is very important to remove the skin drying chemical chlorine and soften your tap water for regular bathing. Overall this is one of the most helpful things that you can do for you and your family’s sensitive skin.
We don’t use sodium lauryl/laureth sulphate, petrochemicals, parabens, synthetic fragrances, or any synthetic chemical preservatives. Our products are gentle and kind to you and to the environment.
Our all natural and organic plant oils are chosen purely because they are highly nourishing to the skin. The oils have a close molecular composition to the skin’s own naturally produced oily substance called sebum. Sebum provides a fine protective layer all over the skin to prevent skin damage and water loss. This vital protective layer is usually missing partially or wholly from extremely dry and sensitive skins. Our botanically derived cold pressed oils and essential oils soothe, cleanse and restore the skin’s missing protective moisture function. Our essential oils contain natural antiseptic properties and are supportive to the immune system.
We can also send out products without the essential oils added for those of you with especially sensitised skins.
Do let us know if you would like your products sent without essential oils. You can either call us on 01600 719774 within office hours 10am-6pm and leave us a message, but because we are always very busy at SSC getting your orders ready for despatching, it might be preferable to email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
In response to growing environmental concerns, we use PET bottles and jars which are manufactured from recycled post consumer regrind (PCR) raw materials.
PCR is a resin that has been previously used in commerical consumer applications such as the manufacturing of mineral water bottles, shampoo bottles etc. which have then been collected, recycled, cleaned, pelletized and reused in the manufacture of new bottles and jars. This reduces the depletion of new fossil fuels and helps create a sustainable packaging solution.
